Respite Care

At Engleburn we are able to offer Respite Care for short visits. Whether support is required for a few days or a few weeks, the same high standard of round-the-clock care is provided by a team of friendly, warm and dedicated staff.

 At Engleburn we offer a very unusual service of respite care that that can be booked up to 3 months in advance.

At Engleburn we support families who care for relatives at home by offering a professional and reliable service, in a safe, comfortable, homely environment. Sometimes, you just need some time to relax and take it easy. Maybe you’re getting over an illness or an operation. Or perhaps your home carers simply need a break while they recharge their batteries. It maybe that you would like to try out what life is like living in our care home but don’t wish to fully commit straight away.  At Engleburn whatever your reason for a short stay we can assure you, you will receive quality care and service to meet your needs.

Day Breaks

At Engleburn we also offer Day breaks, we have an extensive activities programme and love to share our facilities and support others. Day breaks are available to the local community everyday of the week and offer the opportunity to socialise with likeminded individuals.

Day breaks can support you with extra help such as Bathing/hairdressing/chiropody or may simply be an opportunity to socialise with others.

Day Breaks offer:

  • Available 7 day a week
  • Lunch and meals provided
  • Refreshments and Memoirs Café open all day providing a rage of foods and drinks
  • Support with medication by our professionally trained staff
  • Bathing services (booked in advance)
  • Chiropody/hairdressing/nails & beauty (booked in advance)
  • Full Activities Programme (specialist advance dementia programme) that can cater for your individual needs and likes Times, Engleburn is flexible with times and can fit around your personal needs, we can offer early starts (before 9 am) and/or late finishes (after 6 pm)
